The UJ Ramelson Company is an American company that has been in the business of manufacturing quality hand tools since 1937. The Ramelson gouges are top quality palm and straight handled gouge sets of American made woodcarving gouges. Ramelson gouges are sharpened - ready for use.  These tools are excellent tools for all types of woodcarving. Made from high grade tool steel that has been heat treated to proper hardness to take and hold a keen edge. These are top quality hand gouges - do not use a mallet with these gouges.
