How to Order


You can place your order with us in several ways.      
You can Phone, Mail, or Fax your order to us.

We will be happy to assist you with your order and answer your questions about item selection, product specifications, general information, shipping, etc. - phone us at our customer service desk at 1-800-809-4286 or send us an e-mail at carvers@fandfwoodcarving.com.

Be sure to include the catalog number, description, and quantity of each item when you place your order.   For mail order and FAX orders, click here for an order form to fill out.  For Visa and MasterCard orders you must include the account number, card expiration date, the 3 digit number from back of charge card - printed in the signature block, and the billing address for the charge card Do not put charge card numbers in e-mails - call us at 1-800-809-4286, FAX us at 1866-611-6517, or use US postal service to mail your order. Illinois residents must include sale tax of 8.5%.  

All orders must be paid for in full prior to shipment. We accept personal checks, money orders, and Visa and MasterCard as payment.  Do not put charge card numbers in e-mails - call us at 1-800-809-4286 or use US postal service.

For mail orders paid by check or money ordere-mail us or give us a call at 1-800-809-4286 and we will tell you what the shipping charges are.  

For first time customers orders over $500 must be paid with a money order or certified bank check.  For all other orders, charge cards will be allowed at the discretion of management.

All orders must be shipped to a location within the United States of America, Canada or US Armed Service APO address Shipments to Hawaii, and Alaska will be US Postal Service - Priority Mail.  For United Parcel Service you must have a street address - UPS does not deliver to post office boxes.

There is no minimum order amount. All shipping charges are based on the actual cost to ship based on shipping method selected.  We do add $1.00 to each order to cover the cost of packing materials (boxes, envelopes, etc.).  You can request any of the shipping methods listed below.  If you do not request any method, we will select the most reasonable method of shipping.

Very light weight orders that can be shipped safely in an envelope, a small pair of glass eyes for example, will be placed in an envelope and will be mailed first class US Mail.

SPECIAL ORDER ITEMS

We special order items for our customers that we normally do not stock.  There are no refunds or exchanges on special ordered items.

PRICES

Most of our prices are well below manufacture's list prices. It is difficult for us to hold our prices in an increasing market -- but we try.   We make all attempts to keep our item listings as up to date and error free as possible. Our web site has the most current listing of items and prices. We try to maintain our published prices, and not pass on increases to our valued customers.  If we must increase any prices we will do out best to inform you at the time you place your order.

 

"BOUNCED CHECKS"

In order to recover bank costs, we will charge a $25 fee for all returned checks.

 

BACK ORDERS

Fur & Feathers always attempts to maintain a sufficient level of inventory to prevent having to back order any of our customer's orders.  If this occurs, we always ship the same day that we receive the item from our suppliers.   Shipping charges will be applied to all backorders.

 

CUSTOMER SATISFACTION / RETURN POLICY

Satisfied customers are very important to us.  If you are not fully satisfied with your purchase, call us within 10 days.  All purchased items that are being returned must be in its original condition. We will allow you to exchange it for the same or any other item, or we will refund your purchase price plus any taxes paid.   No refund on shipping charges, special orders, and pattern books.  If not returned within 10 days, you will be charged a late restocking fee of 10% of the item price.   You are responsible for return shipping charges.  

 

Carving tools and related products require care in use and storage.  Use care and follow the  manufacture's instructions.  Fur & Feathers Woodcarving assumes no liability for injury, damage to the products sold, or incidental damage.
