Hang-up Style "SR" Motors

These motors boast a full 1/6 hp motor with sealed ball bearings for extra life. Speeds up to 18,000 rpm. The model he "SR" is reversible to permit cutting "with the grain" -- a real asset to woodcarvers. The reversible feature also works very well for left handed carvers - when using the left hand "reverse is forward". The 39" flex shaft runs through a flexible neoprene sheath which will accept all Foredom handpieces. These units are priced without handpieces to allow you to make your own choice. These units are the Foredom's SR motor - 1/6 h/p - 0-18000 rpm - reversible motor - mounted in a heavy bench top swivel yoke base. The model M.SRM has a speed control built into the base. The model M.SRB is available with either the heavy metal SCT foot control (Foredom's best) or the FCT foot control. Both units have the standard 39" long flexible shaft. New - 2 year warranty. These units are priced without handpieces to allow you to make your own choice. See handpieces below. Collet Adapter

changing collets. Use this adapter like a collet inside a collet.
Put your 1/8" collet in your handpiece, and when you are ready to change
to a 3/32" or 1/16" shank simply place this
adapter in the 1/8" collet and place your 3/32" or
1/16" shank in the adapter. To switch back to using a
1/8" shank bur, simply remove the adapter and insert your 1/8" shank
bur. It's just that simple,
quick, and easy. |
